My Story

Molten Hues started pretty simply—I needed a hobby.

Stained glass has been part of my family for years. My grandma has been creating stained glass for as long as I can remember, and after seeing her projects over the years, I finally decided it was time to give it a try myself. I was looking for something creative that I could do with my hands, so I figured… why not stained glass?

Turns out, I really liked it.

What started as something to do in my free time quickly became something I genuinely looked forward to. I fell in love with the whole process—the sound of cutting glass, choosing colors and textures, watching a pile of oddly shaped pieces slowly turn into something, and of course that final moment when you hold a finished piece up to the light.

Eventually, my little hobby needed a name, and Molten Hues was born.

Today, Molten Hues is my place to experiment, make things I think are cool, and put my own spin on a craft that's been around for centuries. I love designs that feel a little retro, a little unexpected, colorful, and most importantly, like something you'd actually want hanging in your home.

Every Molten Hues piece is handmade, which means no two will ever be exactly the same. Tiny imperfections, variations in the glass, and all the little quirks that come with making something by hand are part of what makes each piece its own.

Thanks for being here, supporting something handmade, and letting a hobby I decided to try on a whim turn into something much bigger.

Welcome to Molten Hues.

Made by hand. Made with color. Made to catch the light.
